We will only contact you if your test results indicate that you need further tests or treatment
It is your responsibility to check your results and make any necessary follow-up appointments.
Please understand that our reception staff are not qualified to provide comments or interpretations on any test results.
Getting your test results
Results can take between 48 hours to two weeks to come back to us from the laboratory. Specialised tests and scan results may take longer. Each test result is then reviewed by a healthcare professional here at the Practice.
Once reviewed, your result will be added to your medical record. You can get your result in the following ways:
- in your NHS App
- via the NHS website using your NHS account
- sending us an admin request via Anima between 8am – 8pm, Monday to Friday.
- phone us 01329 845777 after 1pm
- visit your surgery after 1pm.
We strictly adhere to confidentiality and data protection. We will only issue test results to the person they directly relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their disclosure.
